Our Practice nurses are involved in chronic disease management and hold regular clinics to carry out the required examinations and tests.
They are happy to discuss any problems you may be experiencing and refer you to the doctor if necessary.
They are available to discuss contraception and hold well-person clinics.
We now hold INR clinics at the surgery for patients who require anti-coagulation therapy.

Routine shingles vaccination is available for patients who have reached the age of 70 between 1/9/13 – 31/3/2019. There is a catch-up programme for patients aged 78 and 79 years. We strongly advise that you take advantage of this offer as shingles can have very unpleasant complications.
Our influenza vaccination clinics are held from September to March each year.
If you have difficulty attending a clinic at the allocated clinic time, we shall endeavour to do our best to fit you into a general clinic.
A fully qualified healthcare assistant is available to assist the nurses.
Need a chaperone? Just ask……We have staff trained to assist you as a chaperone for your appointment, should you feel the need. A chaperone is there to protect both the patient and the doctor from allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
Smoking Cessation
If you would like help to stop smoking we can refer you to a stop-smoking clinic. Please ask for details at our reception. If you have recently stopped smoking please let us know so we can update your record.
