Our Practice nurses are involved in chronic disease management and hold regular clinics to carry out the required examinations and tests.
They are happy to discuss any problems you may be experiencing and refer you on to the doctor if necessary.
They are available to discuss contraception and hold well person clinics. If you are aged over 40 and have not had a well person check within the last 2 years, or never had a well person check please telephone the surgery to make an appointment with the nurse,
We now hold INR clinics at the surgery for patient’s who require anti-coagulation therapy.

NHS Health Checks (for those aged 40, 45, 50 ,55, 60 ,65, 70 & 74 years).
Routine shingles vaccination for patients aged 70 and a catch up programme for patients aged 78 & 79 years.
Our influenza vaccination clinics are held from October to March each year.
If you have difficulty attending a clinic at the clinic time, we shall endeavour to do our best to fit you into a general clinic.
A fully qualified healthcare assistant is available Tuesday – Friday morning and Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon to assist the nurses at Aylesham Medical Practice.
If you would like help to stop smoking we can refer you to a stop smoking clinic. Please ask for details at our reception.
Aylesham Medical Practice is also a Minor Injury Unit, please contact the reception if you need to be seen.
